About the role

An opportunity exists in our Health Information Department for a motivated person with excellent customer service to join our team.

The position provides administration support within the health information department and Admission office. The administration roles include the processing and collation of daily admission and discharge lists, assistance with the routine release of health information to other health care providers, scanning and filing of documentation, compiling and management of hard copy medical records, update the tracking of medical records via TrakCare system and assist the clinical coding team at the end of each month in retrieving medical records, answer general enquires and assist with coverage of breaks within the team.

The interested applicant would need to have a strong understanding of confidentiality and ensure all protocols and privacy principles of the Health Records and Information Privacy Acts are maintained at all times.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements.
