About the role

An exciting position exists in the People & Culture department for a No Lift Coordinator, for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.

This role is responsible for the coordination of the 'No Lift' program at WDHS with a focus on education and compliance with:

  • manual handling processes,
  • maintenance and correct use of manual handling equipment and
  • the No Lift policy.

Key responsibilities include prevention and elimination, where practical, of manual handling injuries and risks to staff, residents and patients.

The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to create positive working relationships with key staff across the organisation. Ability to work flexible hours and days to meet customer needs is desirable.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements.
