About the role
WDHS are seeking people who would like to join our Food Services team.
Hamilton Base Hospital Chefs and / or cooks are responsible for preparing meals in our Green Bean Café, catering, and for acute patients and aged-care residents. Responsibilities include cooking, chilling, preparation, storage of food items, cleaning of kitchen, plating, presentation and general kitchen duties.
WDHS is a multi-campus organisation and successful applicants may be required to work in Hamilton, Coleraine and Penshurst when required.
Work may include weekend, morning and afternoon shifts & public holidays. Typical Monday – Friday shifts 6.30am – 2.30pm and / or weekends 9.00am-5.00pm.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements.
