As part of our committed Allied Health team, you’ll provide high-quality, client-centred physiotherapy services across acute, outpatient, community, aged care, and rehabilitation settings.
Person-Centred Care
Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and consultation that supports individual goals, independence, and wellbeing.
Clinical Support & Care Delivery
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services and contribute to care planning and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team.
Monitoring & Escalation
Monitor client progress, identify clinical risks or changes in condition, and ensure timely intervention and referral when required.
Consumer Engagement
Work in partnership with clients, families, and carers to support informed decision-making and positive health outcomes.
Teamwork & Collaboration
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to junior staff, Allied Health Assistants, and students.
Quality & Compliance
Contribute to quality improvement, service development, professional standards, accreditation requirements, and safe clinical practice.
What You Bring
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated post-graduate physiotherapy experience and ability to work independently.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation skills.
- Experience supervising students, Allied Health Assistants, or junior staff.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and health record systems.

Situated in the northern sector of the Glenelg Shire and 359 Km West of Melbourne, Casterton Memorial Hospital (CMH) provides a local healthcare facility to the community of Casterton and neighbouring district – servicing a population of approx. 3,000 in its catchment area.
Our staff maintain high professional standards and participate in continuous education and personal development programs, ensuring the attention you receive as a patient, client, visitor or user of our facilities is efficient and of a high standard.
