About the role

An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of  Volunteer Transport Coordinator.

This role is responsible for the coordination of the WDHS Volunteer Transport Program. Coordination of Client referrals and transport bookings, coordination of volunteer transport drivers, including rostering. 

This position requires leadership skills, the ability to manage volunteers within a community setting and the ability to communicate with and listen to the community.  

You will possess excellent people skills to support volunteer drivers and consumers accessing the volunteer transport service. The ability to work as part of a team and use demonstrate intuitive and problem solving skills for day to day appointments and car bookings

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
