About the role

The Asset Management and Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing of all suppliers' invoices and payment requests in addition to the maintenance and accuracy of the health services asset register and administration of capital works purchasing.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Accounts payable

  • Processing and reconciling of all supplier invoices and statements
  • Process payments electronically and by other approved payment methods
  • Validate Masterfile details including EFT details
  • Scan and validate invoices into AP software
  • Assist as required with Switchboard / Reception relief
  • Process all Visiting Medical Officer vouchers into Docpay system to produce associated tax invoices.

Asset Management

  • Capital budget preparation
  • Monthly capital report preparation
  • Reconciliation of asset register
  • Reserves held and donations register
  • Annual asset stocktake 
  • Processing all assets and capital works purchase orders and disposals

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, proficient in Microsoft excel and strong attention to details. Previous experience is desirable.
