About the role

People & Culture are seeking an enthusiastic person to join the team in a key role. The People and Culture Administration Officer is the first point of contact, for employees, managers and visitors to provide direct assistance or refer to the appropriate contact within the People and Culture Department. 

In addition to providing traditional front desk reception duties, this role will provide administrative support to the People and Culture Manager and broader department as required.  This includes various new employee on-boarding processes to assist with the set up and induction of new employees, assisting the Administration Officer as required and providing leave cover for meal breaks, ADOs and planned and unplanned leave and other duties and as required within skills, knowledge and experience.

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and present accurate and comprehensive reports
  • Demonstrated experience in and commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Management practices is desirable

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
