About the role 

Western District Health Service is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Diabetes Educator who can provide comprehensive education services in a multi-disciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience and qualifications in diabetes education and a passion for providing comprehensive care in both acute and community settings. This role involves working in acute and community settings with Type 1 & 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes.

A credentialled Diabetes Educator is preferred, or an educator actively working towards credentialling. The responsibilities and duties of this role include identifying and implementing opportunities for quality improvement and service development to achieve a multi-disciplinary approach to diabetes management.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check.
