Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Coleraine District Health Service

Permanent Full Time 80 hours per fortnight

Salary Range:  A$115,538.80 to A$119,428.40 plus 12% Superannuation.

About the role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated ANUM to join the Acute Care and Aged Care team at our Coleraine Campus.

In this position you will work in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead and manage the professional and operational resources of the Western District Health Service - Coleraine Campus. Under the direction of the NUM, you will play a key role in providing mentorship and leadership across the team.

About You:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of two years' experience working in residential aged care, with some leadership experience. Current experience as Associate Nurse Unit Manager is highly desirable but not essential
  • You can demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Advanced clinical and communication skills including sound oral and written communication skills that allow for effective communication with residents, visitors and staff at all levels
  • You can demonstrate a high level of clinical assessment; clinical decision making; nursing surveillance and intervention; service coordination and clinical and managerial leadership
  • You must have an understanding of relevant legislation, of the principles and practice of aged care and a sound working knowledge of the Commonwealth Residential Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation
