About the role

Existing employees of WDHS are invited to apply for a position within the Health Information Department.

Duties include compilation of discharged patient records using the order of forms. Ensuring correct patient identification through the UR number selection process and merging records if required. Maintaining the accuracy of medical record location via medical record tracking in the electronic medical record - TrakCare. Scanning Primary and Preventative Health documentation into TrakCare. Printing medical record forms as requested by external departments and assisting with retrieving and filing of medical records for auditing.

The interested applicant would need to have a strong understanding of confidentiality and ensure all protocols and privacy principles of the Health Records and Privacy and Data Protection Acts are maintained at all times.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required. All employees must comply with WDHS vaccination requirements.
