The National Centre for Farmer Health (a partnership between Western District Health Service and Deakin University) is seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant and NCFH Board/ Advisory Group Administrator to be responsible for supporting the Director and NCFH Leadership team to implement the strategic goals of the Centre. The role will be responsible for the provision of a range of administrative tasks relating to Governance, budget planning, Board and Advisory Group agendas/minutes/correspondence, submissions and strategic relationships. The position will assist with management of the Board and Advisory Group recruitment, orientation, annual evaluation and coordination of Board meetings (online and face-to-face) and special events (e.g. NCFH Symposium).
The Executive Assistant will ensure timely expert coordination, communication and professional support, including managing a diverse range of issues, services, stakeholders and projects relating to key NCFH strategic objectives. The position will assist with the identification, cultivation and management of relationships with existing, new and potential stakeholders. The position will coordinate high level meetings initiated by the NCFH Director or Board Chair and coordinate the submission of reports, briefings and related documents for the attention of (and on behalf of) the NCFH Board and Advisory Group. The role will ensure that key tasks are coordinated and communicated to the right people (internal and external stakeholders) for the delivery of required outcomes.

- Formal qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, management, finance) and /or equivalent experience (5 years+)

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check.
