About the role
We are seeking a part time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the Finance Department. The Accounts Receivable Clerk - Sundry Debtor's main duties will include invoicing of all sundry debtors' revenue sources for the health service, coordinating debt management of unpaid invoices, maintaining and updating sundry debtors master files and coordinating and processing end of month invoicing.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for generating sundry invoices for all areas of the health service as required from various departments.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating sundry debtor master files
- Reconcile outstanding sundry debtor accounts as and when required and initiate collection action on outstanding transactions including recommending debt write off to Manager of Finance and Budget
- Ensure that contractual billings are kept current with the terms and conditions within the contract
- Maintain the register of actual billings
- At month end, ensure all billings are processed by close of business on the 7th working day of the next month
- Provide assistance with inpatient billing enquiries
- Flexibility to work additional hours as request, to assist the Finance Department and to cover staff leave
- Provide switchboard relief during normal working hours as directed by the Manager of Finance and Budget

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
