About the role

Our pharmacy department is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant/Technician to join their team. In this role, you will assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions, preparing patient medication profiles and managing stock control and distribution within the health service. While the position is part time, there is the potential to work additional hours to cover staff leave or during busy periods with the flexibility to work within all aspects of the Pharmacy Department.  The ideal candidate will be adaptable and willing to work extra hours when needed. A Cert III in Hospital/Health Pharmacy support is desirable but not essential as training and support will be provided to ensure your success in the role.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements including COVID and Booster.
