About the Role
Our Hotel Services Department has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to complete an Apprenticeship as a Chef. The Apprentice Chef will work with our team of chefs and cooks preparing and cooking meals for patients, residents, staff and visitors.
The Hamilton Base Hospital Kitchen / Food Services team provides food services to patients in our acute wards, emergency department, residents in our aged care facilities, Green Bean Café, Social Support Groups and both internal and external catering.
The Apprenticeship is a 3 year qualification and you will undertake formal training in Certificate III in Commercial Cookery through South West TAFE.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
