About the role
We are seeking a Health Care Worker to join our enthusiastic team at Penshurst and District Health Service.
The successful applicant will provide high standard services that support and assist residents to maintain their independence wherever possible and to provide daily care using a person-centred approach in accordance with the resident's individual care plan.
You will assist the Registered and Enrolled Nurses with resident care as directed, within the scope of practice, as well as support in the provision of a clean, comfortable, safe and secure environment.
Hours of work will include shift work, weekends and public holidays.
You will bring:
- Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Support (Grade 2 or above)
- Advanced communication skills including computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Person-centred approach

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
