About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Diabetes Educator to provide education services in a multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have experience or qualifications in diabetes education and a passion for providing comprehensive care in both acute and community settings.
This role involves working in acute and community settings with clients managing Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes. A credentialed diabetes educator is preferred, or an educator actively working towards credentialing.
The responsibilities and duties of this role include identifying and implementing opportunities for quality improvement and service development to achieve a multi-disciplinary approach to diabetes management.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
