About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and patient-care orientated Theatre Technician to join our dedicated perioperative team. Experience is preferred but not essential. On the job training will be available. This role includes set up of equipment in theatre, assisting as necessary with transfer and positioning patients, providing professional customer service to both external and internal customers and assisting with the appropriate and safe use of equipment, including cleaning, stock control support and maintenance according to relevant standards.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current employee National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you be required to obtain an employee Victorian Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and /or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with mandatory vaccination requirements, including COVID, at WDHS - current immunisation records and evidence is required.
