Working Hours: (0.5 EFT for 12 months and then 0.3 EFT for 12 months)

 

Classification: ZJ1

 

Hourly rate: $51.76 plus 11% Superannuation.

 

Salary Range: $32,922.55 to $53,830.92 p.a. pro rata 1.0 FTE

About the role 

Western District Health Service in partnership with Deakin University are undertaking a project to implement Heart Failure guidelines in our community. The successful applicant will join a dedicated team of health professionals working on a project called I-HEART. The project is aimed at reducing hospitalisations for patients diagnosed with heart failure. This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate the project over a two-year period with support both locally and regionally. The project coordinator will have excellent communication skills to engage clients and service providers through the continuum of care. This will require a combination of face-to-face assessment and telehealth consultation with Ischaemic Heart Failure specialists.

You will bring:

Essential

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration .
  • Experience as a project officer or research assistant/fellow with a clinical background.
  • Previous/current clinical experience.

Desirable but not essential

  • Knowledge or experience in research
  • Previous/current clinical experience in working with heart failure patients

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police/NDIS Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements, including COVID and Booster.
