Hourly rate: $29.58 to $33.78 plus 11% Superannuation

 

About the Roles:

 

Join the Finance Team in one or more of the following functions:

 

  • Accounts Receivable Clerk- Patient Billing (24 hours per week minimum)
  • Cashier (10 hours per week minimum) 

 

Extensive training will be provided to the successful applicant. 

Prior experience in a financial role is preferred, but not essential.

Accounts Receivable Clerk - Patient Billing

 

Permanent Part Time: 24 hours per week

 

The Accounts Receivable Clerk - Patient Billing's main duties will include processing of patient invoices including sourcing clinical details, liaising with health funds, patients and other stakeholders regarding invoices and debt recovery, registration of clinicians to enable revenue generation, completion of month and year end processes and provision of relief for Switchboard/Reception as required.

Cashier

 

Permanent Part Time: 10 hours per week

 

The Cashier’s main duties will include electronic receipting, receipting and reconciling all direct transactions, preparing banking deposits and balancing cash daily. Other duties include providing switchboard relief on a daily basis and preparing cheques and bank transfers between accounts as required. 

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, ability to meet deadlines, be proficient in Microsoft excel and have a strong attention to detail. Previous experience is desirable but not essential- extensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.

You will bring:

  • Qualification/s in finance/administration or relevant experience
  • Experience in finance is preferred but not essential - extensive training will be provided to the successful candidate
  • A positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise work
  • Outstanding accuracy, attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a complex work environment where sensitive information is treated with upmost confidentiality
  • The ability to build strong working relationships
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
