About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for dedicated and motivated Registered Nurses to join the Operating Theatre team to cover periods of long service leave, maternity leave or to be employed on Full time or Part time Basis. This position entails working across all areas within the department including Scout and Scrub, Anaesthetics, Recovery and Preadmissions.

The successful candidates will be effective communicators, have proven dedication to maintaining high quality nursing standards whilst providing patient-centred care and excellent computer skills.

You will bring:

• Exceptional and demonstrated decision making skills consistent with experience is essential.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Effective contemporary nursing practices
• High levels of energy
• AHPRA Registration

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police/NDIS Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
