About the role

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Personal Services Assistant to join our committed team at the Birches.  

This position includes providing support and customer service to patients and ward staff.  The ability to work as part of a team is essential and previous experience in a health care setting is desirable. This position includes resident meal delivery, cleaning of resident rooms, including infectious cleaning, some linen duties and general ward cleaning duties. 

The successful applicant will hold a Food Handling Certificate.

Hours of work will include shift work, weekends and public holidays.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements including COVID and Booster
