About the role

We are seeking applicants for general cleaning roles who have an attention to detail, take pride in the work they complete and enjoy working in a team environment. 

WDHS can offer modernised cleaning equipment, exceptional training, and excellent career opportunities. 

The successful applicant will maintain a clean, hygienic, comfortable and tidy environment. Duties can include servicing and cleaning kitchenettes and basic food services, general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, toilet servicing, window cleaning, waste & linen management, infectious cleaning, cleaning offices, general public areas and some external cleaning.

We are looking for Monday-Friday workers with hours generally between 6.30am and 3.00pm. 

The successful applicant must be punctual, reliable, willing to learn, have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team, and have a passion to provide a high level of customer service to staff and clients of WDHS.

Training is provided for all applicants.

We are looking for:

• Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to undertake
• A high level of interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound knowledge in use of computers

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements, including COVID and Booster
