About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse with at least 3 years post graduate experience to join our dynamic and proactive palliative care team 1 day per fortnight with an opportunity to work up as required. 

The successful applicant will be working together with a clinical consultant to deliver person centred clinical palliative care consultancy services to the community, acute and residential aged care. A post graduate qualification in palliative care or working towards one will be highly recommended. Working in a team environment with doctors, volunteers, family, carers, patients and other staff at WDHS is a key part of this role.

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse Registration
  • Post graduate palliative care qualifications and/or considerable experience in this field

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
